The 17 page script largely takes place in the mind of Brigadier Servaes as he suffers from a malaria-induced fever dream.  As the fever gets worse, his perception of reality becomes increasingly blurred and his longing for home comforts begin to twist in the light of the horrors he has experienced. This manifests in a kind of proto-cookery show of his own devising, where Hubert demonstrates the recipes he longs for, as written out in his compiled cook book. The script is written with an emphasis on telling the story visually and from the distinct perspective of physically and mentally damaged Hubert.  It is crafted with a mind to be produced on a potentially modest budget and with an emphasis on pathos and a dynamic aesthetic.
